We were only spending a few days in Croatia, and two of them had been taken up by hiking in Plitvice Lakes National Park. I wanted to make sure that I checked off Croatia on my running around the world list, so I woke up early to get this one done.
This ended up being a beautiful run. A downhill start (though unfortunately meant an uphill finish) eased me down to the shore where I looped around one of the peninsulas making up Cavtat. The views of the ocean and the mountains surrounding Dubrovnik were amazing, and I saw several other runners out there enjoying the same. I made it back before it got too hot, and checked another country off the list.
